Bug Description
I have a Dell Dimension 5150. It comes factory supplied with 2 extra partitions that all Ubuntu versions I've ever used have automatically put an icon for on the desktop.
They are ugly and useless and I don't believe they should be there, let alone require editing files as root to remove them.
If I select Unmount Volume, I am told 'Cannot unmount volume' - You are not privileged to unmount the volume 'DellUtility'
Details: umount: only root can unmount UUID=07D6-0706 from /media/sda1.
similar message for the DellRestore partition. Here's my fstab
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.

I am an experienced Linux user comfortable with the shell, but this is just an ugly non-feature.

This doesn't happen with factory Ubuntu installs, dropping Dell project.
