Bug Description

Adding a 'me too' type of button to bug reports would be a good indication as to how many people a bug affects.

Currently the policy to count the 'me too' people is to track subscribers to a particular bug. This is not intuitive to an end user and they may just leave after discovering that a bug has been reported. Using a 'me too' feature can indicate how many people are affected by a bug versus how many might be willing to assist with further reports and triaging by subscribing to updates.

Thanks for your bug report and for your contribution to launchpad.

I agree with your global idea and this idea has been already proposed with voting system of bug #149775. Maybe that you want to express yourself inside that bug report. I also opened a blueprint for this idea here :

I set this bug as duplicate of bug #149775
