Mixminion is the standard implementation of a type-III remailer. Ubuntu (universe) contains Mixmaster the standard implementation of a type-II remailer but not Mixminion.

Mixminion fixes several draw-backs of the older Type-II remailers, offers enhanced security and anonymity and has added more usefull features like SURBS (Single-Use Reply Blocks) which allows answering remailer messages, in contrast to the older mixmaster.

The compilation and usage of the tarball worked on gutsy without any problems.
