Bug Description

Rigt after mounting my 160 gb FreeAgent external hard drive I can right click and create a folder and then I can move files to it but if I go into another folder the subfolders are all read only and then if I back out the root folders appear normal until I start single clicking on them and highlighting them, they have a little lock that appears and they are now read only, can no longer write to the drive and have to unmount and remount. Acually have to unplug and plug back in because it won't let me remount, it says cannot read superblock. Mounts fine when I plug back in though. Properties says the owner is my username and it says write and delete files for my permissions. The drive is formatted to fat 32. This is on a Toshiba Satellite A105-4104 with Gutsy Gibbon

You have reported two bugs in one which isn't good but unfortunately both seem to be duplicates. Bug #126825 for the remount problem and Bug #164780 for the writing.
