Install of ubuntu 7.1

Bug #156641 reported by bdhere

Bug Description

The forward buttons are at the bottom of the install screen and can not been seen during install.
The only way I found around this was to set all font to 6. Then the screen is small enough to see the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

Screen would not resize.
Screen would not move up.
No scroll bar.
Resolution would not go high enough.

Same problem exactly. Should I go back to the previous and obviously less bug ridden version of U?

Thanks

Chas,
I am very new to using ubuntu so I am the wrong one to ask.
Once I had 7.1 installed I will say that I like it alot and will keep using it.
Sorry in that I know this is no help to you.

I am using a ViewSonic A90 and all is good. I have been playing with
Win4lin today and I have tried several screen settings. All seem to be OK.
Good Luck.
