Bug Description
This is the final release of Gutsy.
System> Preferences> Sessions is broken! When I go to the Startup Programs tab and click the Add button and add an application, it appears to work fine, until I close the window. When I go to System> Preferences> Sessions and Startup Programs tab again, the entry I put in is gone. I cannot add anything to startup.
If I go to a command line and enter :~$ sudo gnome-session-
I cannot start avant-window-
Thank you,
I have tried this on multiple systems now and I get the same results on all of them. (Some notebooks and some desktops)
Shouldn't this be marked as critical or at least high since you cannot add anything to the startup of Ubuntu while this is broken?

startup programs can be temporarily edited in ~/.gnome2/sessions until this is fixed.
I figured out a work-around to get by for now...
If I make a launcher and put it in /usr/share/ gnome/autostart , it will add it to the Startup Tab of the Gnome Sessions Manager.
