Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1525507/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

On the duplicity side... It is failing because a gpg encrypted file isn't a size it expects. But that's a bad check because guessing on sizes of encrypted files is a mug's game. That's the sort of thing that I've disabled tests for in the past indeed.

Hello Matthias,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with ftbfs issues. You made this bug report in 2015 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug?
If you are, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 1525507
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu better.
G
