[gutsy][regression] mplayer can't play theora muxed with matroska

Bug Description

Binary package hint: mplayer

after some update last week ( about September 27 ), mplayer can't play theora muxed in to matroska files:
[mkv] Unknown/unsupported CodecID (V_THEORA) or missing/bad CodecPrivate data (track 1).

same video and audio muxed with ogg container are ok.

This is still issue for me. I compiled and tested upstream version, so it working perfectly for me.

Mplayer 1.0~rc2 was released into Ubuntu hardy as well as a backport to gutsy. Can you check if it works with this?
