Bug Description

I have a Thinkpad T60 that suspended and hibernated quite fine with Feisty. After updating to Gutsy beta, I doesn't fall asleep anymore, the little half moon light won't stop flashing and the machine doesn't power off. Strangely enough, I cannot find any error messages in the logs, can somebody please help me to debug that one? I will attach my /etc/default/acpi-support.

This is the same config file I was using under feisty. The non-customized one from Gutsy doesn't work either, though, exactly same behaviour.

I recently upgraded to gutsy, and suspend has gotten broken for me as well. I have a T60p with an ATI video card.

I have an X40 and I experienced similar problems. Then, I repeatedly hit return and the machine hibernated ok! Also, when awakening from hibernation I had to press and hold return fro successful de-hibernation! I'm writing this on a successfully hibernated computer!

Launchpad bug #121653 has much more info about that. In a nutshell: currently, for ATI users it's either suspend or 3d acceleration.

I have a T60 with ATI card, and I have the same problem with 7.10. Working fine on my Dell E1505.
