many application crashes whit "Bus Error" message

Bug Description
I use Kubuntu Gutsy whit 2.6.22-12-generic kernel, when i run application (ie amule, firefox or thungerbird) i retreive this output: Bus error and the application can't start. Please help me

You probably have corrupted files on your system. Run debsums -s to get a list of file that could be corrupted and then reinstall those packages.
