rosegarden crashes frequently

Bug Description

Rosegarden crashes on my an awful lot—about every 20 minutes. To be more specific, the sequencer crashes, so that it disappears from the jack and midi graphs in qjackctl, but the gui remains active and the project I am working on can be saved. The crashes happen just after I start to play a composition. I get a moment of sound and then the crash message. The compositions I have been working on only use midi—no audio tracks are used and no soft synths are loaded.

I shall attach the backtrace of the latest crash in a minute...

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 RC or later?
