Bug Description
Computer freezes and mouse moves back and forth while connecting external monitor.
Similar bug report on Linux Mint 17 (also Ubuntu 14.04 based).

Known signs are: Samsung Ultrabook series 5, smaller than average monitor resolution, Ubuntu 14.04 based.
Some logs show system is changing resolution constantly back and forth (maybe 5 times a second).
Monitor is BenQ T905 (1280x1024), computer is Samsung Ultrabook series 5 (1366x768)
