Bug Description
when trying to view a video totem shows the movie a bit lower, half inside the window, half outside the window
the movie then flashes because totems try to display controls (pause, ..) but the movie is there
if played in fullscreen, half of the movie is offscreen
this also happens with vlc
EDIT: should have mentioned: using up to date gutsy
solution:
run gstreamer- properties, in the video-tab select 'No Xv' as default output plugin
also works with custom and then type ximagesink for the pipeline
for me it was set to custom and this for pipeline: ffmpegcolorspace ! video/x- raw-yuv, format= (fourcc) YV12 ! xvimagesink /answers. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ totem/+ question/ 7373
i did that for correcting the blue video as suggested https:/
but apparently that's not needed anymore
