Bug Description

I am running Kubuntu Gutsy and whenever I unplug my laptop, the Guidance informs me my battery is low and hibernates my computer. This always occurs regardless of the level of charge left in my batttery.

HI,
can you check the output of the following commands?

cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state
cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info

thanks

lontra@kubuntu:~$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info
cat: /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info: No such file or directory

Also, my laptop is hibernating as instructed by kde-guidance-manager when my battery falls below 5 minutes of charge left.

thanks

Apparently this isn't reproducible here. When I selected do nothing in kde-guidance-manager when the battery level falls below 5 minutes, the power manager proceeded as normal. When I reselected hibernate when level falls below 5 minutes and it works fine. This bug should be closed and marked as invalid? I'll reopen it if it occurs again.
