Bug Description

python-bsdiff used to be packaged by Debian, but was dropped in 2011:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=613707

In testing migrating from 10.04 LTS to 12.04 LTS, this package disappeared. I was hoping it could get added back for 12.04.

While the upstream provides binaries up to 2.4 (Fedora) and 2.5 (Windows) the code worked fine when Debian packaged it for 2.6, and I've tested it against 2.7.
When built against Python 3.2 the module fails to load with an undefined symbol error (PyString_FromStringAndSize is the relevant symbol).
