Bug Description
On my desktop I took the option to use better graphic display which allows for swaying panels. Another thing I did when I first had it was create 4 "workspaces". The workspaces still function, but no longer allow movement "round the corner". i.e./ I can't drag a panel to another workspace anymore.
Occasionaly (and I don't know if it's related to the other problem) the movable bars at the top and bottom of my desktop simply disappear. They come back when I re-boot (I can reboot by pressing on the physical on/off switch of my computer - that opens a panel with the various options for switching off or re-booting etc.
It may be that this problem was provoked by a power outage in my appartment, although I didn't notice a detrimental effect straight away.

I am also losing the top and bottom panels when I switch workspaces. When I first start up, I see 4 workspace icons at the lower right of the desktop, but if I click on one to go to that workspace, I see nothing except the background wallpaper, and the ctrl-alt-arrow keys do not seem to do anything. The only thing I can seem to do at that point is to ctrl-alt-backspace to restart the GUI.
This is a new upgrade to 7.10 Gutsy.
