Bug Description

Ubuntu Gutsy need to be restarted in order to new language configuration (locales) be completely applied.
I am probing with tool System -> Administration -> Language Support.
It is necessary to restart complete operating system, not only X session. I think this is a bug, in Debian when locales value is changed, it is applied just restarting X session.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I have been unable to reproduce this bug using Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 3. I saw the new language being used after I restarted by X session. Does this bug still occur for you and if so what language are you choosing? Thanks in advance.
