Bug Description
After successfully running Edubuntu 7.04 32bit Desktop Live CD with all programs, I run Check CD for defects (which passes) and install the OS on 2-5 yr old Dell Desktops. The OS loads fine, but all education programs are missing. Upon visiting #edubuntu LaserJock asserted that only my sources.list file only has:
deb cdrom:[Edubuntu 7.04 _Feisty Fawn_ - Release i386 Binary-1 (20070415)]/ feisty main restricted
all other repositories were not checked by default. Checking these repositories in the systems menu has solved the current dilemma of not having the programs.
Looks like the sources.list seems to be getting messed up on installation.
Did you have the machines plugged into the internet when you installed? If the installer doesn't detect an internet connection it doesn't set up the sources.list with remote repositories.
