Bug Description

I upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04. It seems that font-family selection doesn't work for me any more. As a result, letter spacing is way off.

Please see this image for examples:

Let me know if you need more information.

Sincerely,
Rafal

I also switched to 13.04 and ALL fonts in Gnome terminal and panel appear to be some serified ones but at fixed spacing. I cannot switch fonts either. VERY ANNOYING !

Try removing package pango-graphite and then restart the desktop manager (or reboot).
