I'm taking a crack at it. Some time before MOTU members trample over me to complete the task would be appreciated.

Due to a policy change (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-motu/2007-November/002684.html) I set the status to 'Triaged'. Set it back to 'In Progress' once you have a source package up for review.

Jeremy, I do not see your package into REVU, nor in the repository.
Did you give back? If so, I will try to package it.

Dan Chen just pointed me to Debian's equivalent of "needs-packaging" and it appears that back when this software was being developed, it only half-worked and would break software (like Evolution) if schemas weren't setup for every single key. Being two years since it was last worked on, those issues obviously haven't been resolved, and I wouldn't be surprised if new incompatibilities crept up in recent versions of GNOME.

Since development ceased two years ago and unmaintained software is an undesirable thing to pull into a distro (makes quite a bit of extra work to try to both work on the distro and be upstream), I'm marking this "won't fix." If someone picks the project up and starts actively developing it again, feel free to re-open.

Changed in ubuntu:
assignee: Jeremy Teale (jteale) → nobody
status: Triaged → Won't Fix
Changed in debian:
