Bug Description

On the page
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupport/Machines/Laptops/Dell/XPS/15z
the advice is given to add:
acpi_backlight=vendor dell_laptop.backlight=0

This resulted (when I check with dmesg) in an error message.

I changed it in:
acpi_backlight=dell_laptop.backlight=0

now I don't see an error message and lightdm does not crash any longer. The backlight function keys also work perfect.
Maybe it has nothing to do with each other, but maybe it does and it can help other Dell XPS15z owners.

Kind regards,
Dirkdend
