Yes, you are right. The original UAE is outdated. The WinUAE team took over the program (rather forked the program) and have been developing it for a few years now, while the original UAE code remained more or less the same.
rcdrummond.net took the advanced WinUAE code and ported it back to its original platform. The new name for this port is E-UAE.
When these packages are officially packaged and uploaded, there would be just little reason to keep the original UAE packages. Maybe they should be removed then?
