Bug Description
When opening Chromium, it mostly opens in a small, scaled down window. It still behaves as normal, but mostly you cannot interact with the mouse due to it being so small, so you have to Alt-F4 to close it and re-open it.
Normally on re-opening, it is fine. Here is another description of the same bug experience by someone else: http://
This happens on Release 14 (nadia), Cinnamon 64-bit but I have also had it happen on 13.
This is my graphics card:
VGA compatible controller : NVIDIA Corporation G86 [GeForce 8500 GT] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
lsmod shows I am using the nouveau driver.
I used to have the same problem with Adobe Reader, but now I don't have that installed.

I posted a similar bug here: https:/ /github. com/linuxmint/ Cinnamon/ issues/ 1283
I also see windows open in this scalled down view sometimes. I can't work out why though.
VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108 [GeForce GT 540M] (rev a1)
