Bug Description
when synaptic package manager is started, if the cursor is placed on the search button while package information is still being loaded, then after the package information is loaded a mouse click is ineffective unless the cursor is moved off the button and back onto the search button. The same is true for other buttons on synaptic package manager.
Do not know if this affects other applications.
