Bug Description
Most UI components in Ubuntu are too big and cumbersome. There are quotes on the Ubuntu webpage claiming that Ubuntu 12.04 looks better than OSX. I would very much like this to be the case.
I suggest looking at OSX and seeing how the UI doesn't take an awful lot of space / pixels when it comes to borders and tabs.
Everything in Ubuntu just looks too big. A slicker UI is required, or just the option of having a slicker UI, as the configuration options are somewhat lacking even with MyUnity and other tweak tools installed.

Sorry for the vagueness of this bug. I'm hoping Ubuntu users and developers will see this and recognise the issue I am referring to.
