Bug Description
Dear Ubuntu developers,
Sunbird as a standalone application will unfortunately not be developed anymore by the Mozilla project. However, this is **the best** calendar I have ever tried and which I have been using for several years now. It is so powerful while being simple to use, manages dates, notifications, and more. It is so good that I can't go without it, this is why I am posting this request, to have the last available release in Ubuntu.
https:/
The place for the sources:
https:/
«Licensing
Sunbird is licensed under a MPL/GPL/LGPL triple license, allowing use of the files under the terms of any one of the Mozilla Public License, the GNU General Public License, or the GNU Lesser General Public License. »
It also exists at Debian Sid : under the name "Iceowl". Althought Ubuntu does not use the "Ice_xyz" names, and in case Ubuntu would be willing to save « Sunbird standalone » from the void which menaces it:
all the language files which can be used for « Sunbird standalone » are stored at Debian:
http://
whereas at Mozilla the page still exists but... does not lead to any language file !
Here are a few screenshots showing Sunbird standalone for GNU/Linux:

Thank you for giving this request some consideration.
Best regards,
Joyce MARKOLL (aka melodie)
