I think MDV somehow got a corrupted Cd or else was using Windows and didn't notice. I've done it myself sometimes at work. Xp and Ubuntu feel so comfortable, even the 12.04.
Win7 is not to bad either although it's a bit weird to get a pop-up box demanding to know if you want to do what you just asked it to do. At least with Win7 it gives a clue about what it's talking about so you are not just ok'ing things randomly (i'm sooo glad to have leap-frogged past Vista!)
