Hi Kip, I would like you to understand the following, I hate Microsoft, I hate what they are doing, I hate what they stand for and what I hate the most is having to pay hard earned money for 0's and 1's. I love the Open Source concept and it should be the *ONLY* way to go. There is NOTHING MORE I would like than to be able to use Ubuntu on all my machines. I am constantly looking for Microsoft alternatives. I have been in computers since 1992 and all my learned experience is on Dos, Windows (Microsoft Certifications), some Netware and very little on Linux. I am now retired and for some weird reason I am busier now than I was in the past. I do a lot of charitable work repairing and fixing defective computers for people who cannot afford to bring their PC's to the repair shop. Unfortunately 99% of the people have Windows installed on their PC's. And that I can fix. I would love nothing better than to replace some of these people's unlicensed OS with Ubuntu. But unfortunately I don't have the know how or experience to do that because I don't find Ubuntu user friendly (from a Windows perspective). So if one of you SMUCKS (wink, lol) is willing to put the effort in my proposed project, then I am willing to put in 150% effort to do this. And yes I will become responsible for spreading Ubuntu on (at least) a small to medium scale. What do you think, can we do this??????????????????? Best regards, Gentilli.
