+mbrola-de3 for Debian
+---------------------
+
+This package installs the diphone database into /usr/share/mbrola/de3/de3 .
+All examples go to /usr/share/doc/mbrola-de3/examples .
+
+You can test your installation by running:
+
+mbrola /usr/share/mbrola/de3/de3 /usr/share/doc/mbrola-de3/examples/de3tts.pho de3tts.wav
+
+which will create de3tts.wav in the current directory.
+
+If you have Sox installed, you can run:
+
+mbrola /usr/share/mbrola/de3/de3 /usr/share/doc/mbrola-de3/examples/de3tts.pho -.au | play -t .au -
+
+to play it on the fly.
