The release notes link on the first screen of the installer do not open the release notes

The release notes link on the first screen of the install loads www.ubuntu.com instead of the release notes themselves.

Not sure whether this is a ubiquity problem or a server side problem.

The url used for the release notes can be found in /media/cdrom/.disk/release_notes_url and it is set to:

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes?os=ubuntu&ver=12.04&lang=${LANG}

which ends up redirecting to www.ubuntu.com.
