Bug Description

Folks:

A comment on your download web site...

OK. I know you're slashdotted right now (7:45am EST on Saturday, 24 March), so that probably is what is happening. But I can't even download the torrent file... (I clicked and have been waiting ~10 minutes...)

Nevertheless, I have always wished that you would make the torrent downloads *way* more obvious. You make it really easy to download from your servers, but to find the BitTorrent link you have to scroll down, and rummage around through a directory listing, squinting at the the text to be sure that you have the right one. (Because you *really* don't want to get the wrong one... :-)

My proposal:

On the download page (http://releases.ubuntu.com/feisty/) you list the PC (Intel x86) desktop CD first. That's right, of course, because nearly everyone wants this.

I propose that you put "(BitTorrent)" right next to that link.

People who don't know what it is will click the full download link. And suffer the delays if your server is bogged down. But people who know about BitTorrent will choose that link (that's obviously called out right next to the main link) and I bet that a significant number of folks will choose it if you make it eaier...

Best regards, and I'm lookin' forward to playing with Feisty Fawn!

PS I did receive the Torrent file after a bit...
