Ubuntu Wiki licence is unpermissive

At the moment there is no licence notice at the Ubuntu Wiki. There's only a link at the bottom pointing to www.ubuntu.com/legal/

The legal page only allows displaying on your own computer, downloading and printing pages of the website.

It would be much more in the spirit of Linux to licence all content on the Wiki under a Common Creatives licence allowing people, or other projects, to reuse parts from the Ubuntu Wiki.

This is on the agenda of the Ubuntu Community Council for discussion/action.

The Community Council is currently working on adding a CC license, the draft email to go out to the community discussing the proposed change is prepped and should go out in the coming weeks.
