Bug Description

Matthew Garrett resigned from the Technical Board in March: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-announce/2008-March/000408.html

His name should be removed from the web page accordingly.

Volans (volans) wrote :

Also the wiki page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TechnicalBoardGroup should be updated.

Probably the better solution is to link in the site page notified ( http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/techboard ) the Launchpad members page of this group: https://launchpad.net/~techboard/+members directly.

Changed in ubuntu-website:
assignee: nobody → newz
status: New → Confirmed

Agreed, linking to Launchpad is a better idea. The Community Council does this as well. I don't have permission to change TechnicalBoardGroup, but will open an RT ticket for that.

Colin Watson (cjwatson) wrote :

If you update the list of members in the page directly, please also add my name, per https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-dev/+poll/2009-01-tb-nominees.

Colin Watson (cjwatson) wrote :

Perhaps the current members of the technical board could simply be given write access to this page? We have a number of revisions we'd like to make to it, and would appreciate the ability to do so in a timely fashion.

I've made community/processes/techboard link to the Launchpad members list, as suggested by Volans. TechnicalBoardGroup seems to have been updated by now.

Changed in ubuntu-website:
assignee: Matthew Nuzum (newz) → Colin Watson (cjwatson)
status: Confirmed → Fix Released
