2007-11-12 10:14:34 | Matt Zimmerman | description | On the download page at http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download, selecting 'Ubuntu 7.04' and 'PowerPC' should forward the user to the CDImage server, as PPC is now a port rather than an official release. However, it doesn't. Instead, it leads to the file ubuntu-7.04-desktop-powerpc.iso on the Releases mirrors... which does not actually exist there. | The download page on www.ubuntu.com provides convenient access to the official ISOs (i386, amd64 and sparc), but no information about the unofficial "ports" ISOs which are provided for the benefit of developers. A link to the ports download directory on cdimage would be appropriate. | |
