Bug Description

On http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community there are a few outdated references that should probably be cleaned up.

"If you are new to Ubuntu, and have not used IRC before, you can use the application 'pidgin' (or on some versions of Ubuntu 'gaim')"

gaim is long gone, I'd remove reference to it, and default is now empathy, not pidgin.

"Take a look at a list of our current IRC channels" link to current channels should be updated to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InternetRelayChat (that's what the current link redirects to anyway).

I'd also drop reference to "Technical answers system" or put it last since Launchpad answers doesn't have a very active community.

Hum... I'm not so sure about removing the reference to answers.launchpad.net as it's currently the only central place which allows non-English questions. Liz: what do you think?

It was actually removed a couple months ago and replaced with AskUbuntu. I'd be fine adding it back if it were clear about the language thing, I didn't realize that's why we kept it around or whether it was used much in any language (it really doesn't have much of an English community these days).
