Well as i said in Idea #26741, it isn't working for people living in Italy, France, Germany (i asked people on IRC).
Checking better i noticed that the redirection only works for the download of the .iso of Ubuntu.
If Ubuntu really should query the browser for a preferred language and automatically redirect to the appropriate-
If the plans are to redirect only the download of the .iso of Ubuntu i think this is a problem because doesn't let the user choose. (Isn't said that if i'm living in Italy i'm Italian and want to download Ubuntu in Italian language)

The ubuntu.com website is not localized, and there is no plan to localize it. Nor will users be redirected to websites that are not maintained by Canonical. There is a plan to provide a small localization bit with a link to further resources in a users language. Marking invalid.
