Donation page only works via download

When arriving to the donation page (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/questions) from google and pressing "Pay with PayPal" button, an error is shown: "You are not authorized to access this page."

The donation page seems to work just fine when navigating there through the downloads. I guess this is the route most users end up to the page.

Tanya, this new page will have to be added to the IA of the site. Amrit can you suggest a good location?

I suggest that we create a way for this journey to be completed should the pages be accessed from outside of Ubuntu.com.

I think we should also look into having a stand alone contributions page. If Peter can confirm this, then i will look into the UX for it.

This is still an issue. I just installed Ubuntu for the first time in ages and was completely blown away. The user experience is fantastic, everything is so pretty and easy to use. I love it. Hence, I would love to give you my money. So I go to your homepage.. No Donate link. Hmmm. I try googling 'Ubuntu Donate money'. I find a link at the bottom of the Google page. "Awesome, that's the page!", I think, when I see that it's the one that asked me to donate when I was downloading Ubuntu. But what's that? "You are not authorized to access this page." What? Why? I mean, I don't even.. I just want to give you my money! Take it, dammit!

Sorry for the rant. I'd suggest this gets fixed ASAP! You are losing money on this.

This issue has been resolved with the rework of the contribution page. By visiting the page without following the download route it now just acts as a stand alone contribution page. Sorry for the inconvenience.
