Bug Description

bq Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition:
* OS build number: OTA-9
* Ubuntu Image part: 20160123.1
* Ubuntu build description: Ubuntu 15.04 - armhf (20160123-115651)
* Device Image part: 20160108-efc96d8
* Device build description: VEGETA01A-S23A_BQ_L100EN_2009_160123
* Customization Image part: 20160111-926-36--vivid

Reproduce:
- Start listening to music.
- Allow the mobile to lock after the user-specified timeout, or manually lock the mobile device using the "power" button.

Result:
Lock-screen does not display "now playing" information, nor offer access to playback controls.

Expectation:
Lock-screen displays "now playing" information and playback controls in the middle of the infographic, or another suitable location on the lock-screen.

@gregory This is currently available from the sound indicator. We are adding the metadata now.
The infographic might be a nice touch as well.

I see that, but that does not appear to be accessible from the "lock"/infographic screen, which is what one would normally expect from a mobile device such as a smartphone, phablet or tablet...

Just to be clear it is accessible if you pull down the sound indicator, I assume you are asking it to be displayed in the center of the screen somehow

Correct (though even the pull-down controls are inaccessible when the screen is "locked" - they only work when the mobile device is unlocked).

Aha, well it is accessible unless you disabled that in system settings >
security and privacy > Locking and unlocking : When locked allow
notifications and quick settings. Of course thats all or nothing.

Oh yeah, I see what you mean... Though it still doesn't display any of the "now playing" metadata, and only offers playback controls.
