Steps:
* unity8 in desktop mode
* stop unity8-dash
* invoke spread
* click on spread

Expected:
* spread closes

Current:
* spread can only be exited by alt+tab or launching an app from the launcher

pulling in ux for the question whether it should not even open or just be easier to close as suggested in the description. Or do we want a text/hint that no applications are running?
