Bug Description

The news scope uses a fixed font. On the MX4, the font appears so small that it will be hardly readable by some (especially older) people. The font color is locked to medium gray on a light gray background, which looks sleek, but is a very bad choice for text. Text, notably in an application meant to convey information, should use high contrast. Moreover, the font is sans serif. Larger portions of text, notably newspaper articles, should use serif font ("Times" being the standard example, its name deriving from the name of the newspaper).
Please choose a better font (type, size and color) for the news scope. Alternatively, make it configurable by the user.

Hi Rüdiger.

Currently scopes cannot control the fonts used. So I have added Unity8 and Ubuntu Design tasks to this bug.

Thanks for filing the bug!

Setting as incomplete in unity8 until UX decides if:
  * We want scopes to be able to specify their fonts
or
  * We want users to be able to chose the font per scope
or
  * Something else that solves this problem
