Bug Description

From OEM reported bug #1436612:

On r21: (ubuntu-touch/rc/bq-aquaris.en)

When configuring scopes (from any scope, touching the configuration icon) the top title with the Back button is visible even when scrolling down the page

Expected: In System settings, when scrolling down a long list of options (e.g. available networks to connect in WiFi configuration) the top title with the back button should show too

Actual: the top title disappears, meaning one has to scroll up at least a little to make it visible again (or all the way up for it to stay visible all the time)

Is this System Settings specific?

The expected default behaviour for a header is to disappear when scrolling down, and reappear when scrolling up. There is a property to enable it to stay fixed as well, if desired for a specific purpose

Yes, the bug is about the lack of consistency apparent because system settings is 'different'

OK I had a chat with Olga who works on the header UX.

Both behaviours are correct - the SDK has support for a hiding header and a fixed header. The default is that the header hides when the user scrolls down (on mobile), but it is also possible and in some cases advisable to have the header stay fixed. So I don't think this is a bug as such that system settings and scopes exhibit different behaviour
