Bug Description
Many mobile games require to have full screen control.
For example:
https:/
Generally in that game, the idea is to random swiping to cut fruits. So from Ubuntu Touch perspective, it is not possible to have side pane.
In Android/iOS/Windows system, special key designed to return to home screen. So:
1. Game have exclusive access to whole touch screen
2. To enter game menu, you need to press pause button on the touch screen
3. To exit game (if something goes wrong) physical button must be pressed
For Ubuntu Touch:
The question is what user should do when application stop responding?
What user should do when black screen appear (application is still working)?
What user should do if performance is so bad, that is unable to press "Menu" button?
What user should do if user unable to find exit, or it is not exists (small fonts, too small screen resolution etc. - see FreeCiv)?
Most of that issues I observed on my Samsung Galaxy Ace, with Android 2.3.2:

I'm wondering how it will be resolved in Ubuntu Touch?

As far as I know there is not such fullscreen app and edge navigation disabling functionality planned for Ubuntu Touch. When we get such a requirement to design for then we can definitely revisit this but at the moment that's not the case.
On other note, not all Android devices has physical home button. For example in my Moto G Android phone there is no such button.
