Bug Description

Per design specification, when in the history view a long press on any domain should activate multi-select mode, where the user can select various domains to delete from the history database.

---------------
webbrowser-app (0.23+15.04.20141104.1-0ubuntu1) vivid; urgency=low

  [ Ubuntu daily release ]
  * New rebuild forced

  [ Riccardo Padovani ]
  * Added new upstream components to fit with design requests: multiple
selection in History, standard swipe-to-delete. (LP: #1351167)

  [ Olivier Tilloy ]
  * Do not use a custom scheme to trigger the error page, this won’t
work any longer as soon as oxide learns how to delegate unhandled
    schemes (see https://launchpad.net/bugs/1384460). (LP: #1384460)
  * Ensure that the 'dataLocation' context property is updated when the
    application name changes. (LP: #1387754)
  * Really honour the --fullscreen command-line switch. (LP: #1379766)

Hi guys,

I am afraid the app & visuals are different (padding, lack of labels - see screenshot). Please replace the X with a chevron pointing left

Giorgio, I filed bug #1412732 to track the need for a visual update (let’s keep this one closed as the core functionality is implemented).

Regarding the chevrons, the visual spec has checkmarks, just like the current implementation. Does the spec need to be updated? If so, other apps should be updated too (as the checkmark is used consistently across applications that implement multiple selection).

Yes, there is currently an inconsistency in several apps and the Visual Spec needs to be updated.

There's now a comment on the visual spec about the 'chevron' replacing the 'cross'
