[HUD] No way to invoke HUD on unity8

Bug Description
The bottom edge gesture to invoke HUD has been removed. There is currently no way of invoking the HUD under unity8.
This bug is just a reminder to revisit HUD design later on.

this is completely a UX decision at the moment. only the invocation has been disabled, the HUD feature is still present in the code.
this came at the request of product management after some discussions with design on user testing data.
