[Patterns] Please reduce the height of the Tabbar

The height of the tabbar is too much, feels like it waste a lot of screen space. Can we please reduce it to a more usable value ?

Also it seems the height of the tabbar in the Dash is less than what we have in Apps.

I second that. That looks unnecessarily clunky. Would be quite ironic throwing away all this space on the top while choosing not to display toolbar buttons on the bottom by default.

We are iterating on a new header design for apps. We'll be posting on the
blog next week about it.
We need to refine a couple of details, but we'll solve all the problems
you're talking about.

What's the decision regarding this bug ? What is the agreed height for the header ?

we are now using the height as specified by design.

There may be additional header modes in future that are less high (for example in landscape mode)
