Bug Description

If I pull down an indicator menu, whatever my current scope is doing gets cancelled.

For example, if I'm playing (or previewing) music in the music scope and I pull down the sound indicator to change the volume, the music stops and goes back to the default music scope state. If I'm in the Applications scope looking through click app search results, then I grab the messaging indicator to double-check what a friend told me (or use the network indicator to switch to a faster connection, or otherwise use an indicator), my current app search results disappear and the scope resets to its default state.

This is annoying, especially when using a slow connection. It can take a while to get back to where I was before touching the indicators. Could we make the indicator menus not kill the state of other things the user might be doing?

This still happens on utopic image 2.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Go to the apps scope.
2. Start an app search.
3. Tap on an available app to view its details.
4. Pull down any indicator, let go of it, then drag it back up to show the main screen.

Expected result: The apps scope should still show the app I was about to install.

Actual result: The app search I was doing is gone, showing only the default app scope view.

Same thing for music:
1. Go to the music scope.
2. Tap on a local song, and hit the play button to preview it in the scope (not the music app).
3. Pull down the volume indicator to change the sound level.

Expected result: The song keeps playing while I adjust the volume, and then I can go back to the song preview in the music scope when I'm happy with the sound level.

Actual result: The song stops playing, and if I get rid of the indicator menu, the music scope no longer has the song open.

This does not happen on a Nexus 7 flo, using Utopic image 4. The indicator menu doesn't actually cover the whole screen on that device though, which might explain the difference.

FWIW, I think this was resolved a while back. It's now possible to do things like changing the volume during a music scope preview, or go to the online account settings while browsing the app store.
