It’s actually an issue with hyperlinks when they are at the bottom of the view, on any webpage. I suspect the mouse area that’s used to detect swipe movements is swallowing clicks, whereas it should forward them through (see also bug #1130446).

I can confirm my suspicion, the mouse area used to detect edge swipe is eating the click events. Unfortunately there is no easy fix to that. Once bug #1130446 is fixed, the incidence of this issue will be greatly reduced, but it will still exist.

Lowering the importance, as with the work to integrate the SDK Panel, the area at the bottom that eats mouse clicks is greatly reduced. As commented earlier, the issue will still exist, but its impact will be lowered a good deal.
