ItemSelector loses focus on SelectedItem when expand and collapse

I'm showing in this video a bug when we switch between expanded and collapsed state of ListItem.
As we can see, the ScriptAction changes the position of the SelectedItem every time we expand or collapse the list. I also tested these behaviours removing the ScriptAction code and it seems to me solving the problem.
I didn't figure it out what's the real purpose of that script and maybe it should be removed.
