I disagree on using the toolkit translations, lp:~kalikiana/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/dolmetscher does address not pulling translations from examples into the toolkit itself and separates the gallery.
The other examples shoulc also get their own domains and be autonomous. As I see it their purpose is to be self-contained otherwise they might just as well be merged into the gallery.
