The HUD is now hidden in MainView, which causes developers to define their own HUD inside MainView, and as a result there are two HUD instances.

Ideally this will be exposed in the same way the toobar is exposed, providing a property that can be set (menus: MenuActions {} or something like that), which MainView will then use to add to it's existing HUD instance.

The initial solution I thought of was to have an exposed HUD in MainView, but I like Michael's suggestion to add a property to Pages to define the HUD actions, similar to how we currently deal with the Toolbar and tools.

As workaround, when an application defines HUD actions, it should NOT set the MainView.applicationName property at all. In this way the hidden HUD is not instantiated at all.

According to bug #1154980 this is also the cause of warnings at startup of the apps:
